Founding Story
Burcu (say Boohr-dju) is the Founder and Managing Director of Crispy Finance.
With over 15 years of international experience across corporate finance and commercial roles. Born in Izmir, Turkey, she she earned her undergrad in Business and Finance and began her career as an Investment Analyst at Garanti Bank in Istanbul. After being awarded the Jean Monnet Scholarship, she moved to the Netherlands and completed her Masters in Finance at Utrecht University.
She later joined Vodafone in Amsterdam, where she worked on the Vodafone–Ziggo merger, a highly complex transaction valued at approximately $3.5B, supporting financial integration and commercial decision-making. Burcu subsequently held senior roles at Philips, spanning FP&A, risk management within the Health Systems division, and ultimately Director of Commercial Policy and Pricing for the EMEA region.
After more than a decade in corporate and commercial leadership roles, Burcu founded Crispy Finance to bring practical financial discipline, clarity, and strategic insight to fast growing companies operating internationally.
When she’s not working on Crispy Finance, Burcu spends time with her family and 2 children, travels and improves her Mediterranean cooking skills.
